Supporting Safety and Preparedness: Northwest tanklines at the Nutrien ERAP Training Event

At Northwest Tank Lines, safety isn’t just a priority, it’s a core value that drives every mile. From June 23–26, 2025, our team proudly supported the Nutrien Emergency Response Assistance Plan (ERAP) training event at their Fort Saskatchewan facility.

To help enhance responder readiness, Northwest Tank Lines provided an MC412 acid trailer for display and hands-on learning throughout the week. Our team was on-site to walk new groups of emergency responders through the trailer’s design and functions, giving them practical insight into the specialized equipment they may encounter on the road.

The event also featured live response scenarios, including a Nutrien provided truck for an ammonia transfer demonstration. Each morning began with an alarm from Nutrien Redwater, and emergency teams would respond to Nutrien Fort Saskatchewan to address each scenario.

By taking part in events like this, Northwest Tank Lines reinforces its commitment to supporting the broader safety community while demonstrating the level of care and professionalism our Drivers and Owner Operators can count on. It’s all part of creating an environment where experienced professionals know they have the support, equipment, and trust they need to succeed, and get home safely.
